Nepal Days!!!!

Well hello to all.....

sorry its been a while since the last email.... thanks for all who where wondering.... no i havent lost my soul to the maoist or buddhist cause! Still same old caroline.... the last post didnt work so i couldnt tell you guys i was going to nepal..... and here i am...

Its been a dream of mine since such a long time to come here, and even thought its been almost a month, i still cant get over it, its simply amazing....

So the situation isint the best, well that is what we are lead to believe isint it??? How many of you were worried or even told me not to go.... well the people arent happy, there is no tourist here compared to usual, the king isint the most popular person right now, but for the tourist nothing changes... well except for the "voluntary "donation of 20$ they ask you...please give to your friendly maoist neighboor!!!! Every thing is pretty much dirt cheap, but still you have some people that like to push the envelope.... you wouldnt imagine how many people on the trail would ask for free acomodation if they promise to eat there.....as if they couldnt afford 1 $.... there excuse was that it was low season..... reason more to give them the money I think....

Anyways, ive just come back from 22 days of trekking and it was superb.... simply amazing....
I decidedto do the annapurna circuit and then, as if walking for 15 days wasnt enough, i decided to continue on my own (i had a porter until then...) with amy and simon, this english couple, to do the annapurna circuit.... anyways, the best views where definetly waking up at 4100m, in the middle of some of the highest mountains on earth, with snow all around.....

So, after 350 km, climbing up to 5416m, 23 days, the heat the snow.... im back with great memories.... heres some of the pictures... hope you can imagine what it was like.

So now, ive met a kiwi friend, ill go do some rafting, maybe go to a national elephant park, and maybe, if i still have some energy, ill go do the everest base camp.... maybe.... especially since my boots gave up on me and exploded.... hahaha vibram soles are not that good, i could prove it.... lifelong guarantee.....ha!

So, im doing great, still alive and kikin..... really sad about the earthquake, didnt hear about it before yesterday, but if it gets india and pakistan to get into an agreement, at least thats that...
